Membership Eligibility

Before beginning the process, please review our basic membership requirements. Prospective members must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Have Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

• Join the official Alpha Eta Phi Facebook Interest Group and remain active in the group for at least 3 months before applying for membership.

• If currently a member of another non-collegiate sorority, membership with Alpha Eta Phi will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• If you recently resigned from another non-collegiate sorority, you must complete a 90-day waiting period before applying for membership with Alpha Eta Phi.

Join Our Interest Group

Joining our official Facebook Interest Group is the first step in the membership journey and is required before applying.

Prospective members must be active in the Interest Group for a minimum of 3 months before becoming eligible to apply. Simply joining the group does not satisfy this requirement; we encourage genuine participation and engagement.

The Interest Group is also where you can connect with us, receive announcements, learn about upcoming events and Information Sessions, and stay informed about future New Member Intake recruitment periods.

No Chapter in Your Area?

Don't let that stop you from expressing interest! 🌎 Alpha Eta Phi continues to grow, with sisters located throughout the United States and beyond. Individual chapters are soon to come as our sisterhood continues to expand.

Please note that information regarding the establishment or chartering of Alpha Eta Phi chapters is exclusive to members of the sorority and is not part of the prospective-member process.
