Renise D. harris
Chairperson

Renise Harris is the Regional Director for the Philadelphia/Delaware regions in the Mid-Atlantic Region of Youth Advocate Programs. She is based in Philadelphia, PA, and the company is headquartered in Harrisburg, PA, but serves youth and their families in 32 states and internationally. She brings to our Board of Directors' leadership ability developed over time as a result of over 20 years of experience working in the fields of behavioral health and counseling, education and school-based services, and social services for children and adults. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, and from the University of Delaware with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel Administration. She is certified as a trainer in Crisis Prevention & Intervention and is also a Certified Investigator for the Intellectual Disability service system in Pennsylvania. Renise has 3 children and lives in Delaware County with her husband and 2 youngest daughters. She has been a supporter of many with Multiple Sclerosis, including participating as an advocate in the treatment of those closest to her. It is her hope that by serving as the Chair of the Board of AEP, she will be able to make a positive impact not only in the lives of those who are actively managing MS but also in helping to educate others and bring awareness to so many more through her work with AEP members.
Romell Parham
Community Liaison

Romell Parham is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience within the Human Services field. He currently serves as the Regional Director for a School-Based Mental Health and Counseling Program and has spent most of his professional career in the behavioral health sector working with and managing youth-serving organizations.
Prior to his current position, Romell spent several years managing various residential programs for children and adults and has more than 12 years of experience overseeing and directing school-based behavioral health and alternative education services across the Tristate area. Romell is a certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional and currently also teaches as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor for Jefferson University's M.S. Community and Trauma Counseling Program.
